The AcuSketch app enables users to craft embroidery designs by tracing on the canvas displayed on the iPad screen using either their finger or a stylus. The designs can be sent to Wireless LAN capable JANOME sewing machines or exported as a jef+ file for use in other applications.

AcuSketch Features:
<ul>
 <li>Ability to create handmade-looking designs with stitches generated from freehand lines.</li>
 <li>Option to make free-motion-quilting-like patterns and engage in machine quilting.</li>
 <li>Suitable for individuals without expertise in computers or digitizing software due to the transformation of drawn lines into stitches.</li>
 <li>User-friendly interface that offers an enjoyable experience.</li>
</ul>

Stitches:
<ul>
 <li>Wide variety of stitch types including basic, single run stitches and line stitch pack (available as an In-App Purchase) such as triple, zigzag, and stem stitches.</li>
 <li>Capability to choose whether to include Locking stitches and to adjust the length and width of stitches. The width can only be adjusted for certain stitch types.</li>
 <li>Possibility to flip stitches over for select stitch types, with stitches sewn according to the drawing order.</li>
</ul>

Other Features:
<ul>
 <li>Enhanced functionality while drawing lines, enabling users to extend existing lines or connect multiple lines together.</li>
 <li>Incorporation of image insertion for tracing purposes.</li>
 <li>Convenient saving function for drawings and an export feature for embroidery designs.</li>
 <li>Includes a stitch simulator for previewing designs before execution.</li>
</ul>

Send Embroidery Design:
<ul>
 <li>AcuSketch is compatible with specific sewing machine models listed on JANOME's website (https://www7.janome.co.jp/global/softupdate/acusketch/).</li>
 <li>Conditions require the iPad to be connected to Wi-Fi and the sewing machine to share the same Wireless LAN access point as the iPad.</li>
 <li>For iOS 14 or later versions, users need to grant the app permission to discover and connect to devices on the local network.</li>
</ul>
