The AcuSketch app enables users to craft embroidery designs by tracing on the canvas displayed on the iPad screen using either their finger or a stylus. The designs can be sent to Wireless LAN capable JANOME sewing machines or exported as a jef+ file for use in other applications.

AcuSketch Features:

• Ability to create handmade-looking designs with stitches generated from freehand lines.

Stitches:

• Wide variety of stitch types including basic, single run stitches and line stitch pack (available as an In-App Purchase) such as triple, zigzag, and stem stitches.
• Capability to choose whether to include Locking stitches and to adjust the length and width of stitches. The width can only be adjusted for certain stitch types.
• Possibility to flip stitches over for select stitch types, with stitches sewn according to the drawing order.

Other Features:

• Enhanced functionality while drawing lines, enabling users to extend existing lines or connect multiple lines together.
• Incorporation of image insertion for tracing purposes.
• Convenient saving function for drawings and an export feature for embroidery designs.
• Includes a stitch simulator for previewing designs before execution.

Send Embroidery Design:

• AcuSketch is compatible with specific sewing machine models listed on JANOME's website (https://www7.janome.co.jp/global/softupdate/acusketch/).
• Conditions require the iPad to be connected to Wi-Fi and the sewing machine to share the same Wireless LAN access point as the iPad.
• For iOS 14 or later versions, users need to grant the app permission to discover and connect to devices on the local network.
